Once Upon My Reality
by Hannah Reese
I have a vivid imagination, and sometimes ideas or imagery become lodged in my mind. That is where my art is born. I paint what I love and what I see when I close my eyes. Sometimes what I love is as familiar and unassuming as the bank barns of Pennsylvania; other times, it is the personified versions of animals or a visual representation of a feeling.
The real and the whimsical meet throughout this collection of works. While the paintings may not appear to share a single cohesive theme, they are united by the rose-tinted lens through which I perceive the world around me.
