AboutHannah Reese
Hiking has always been a favorite pastime for my husband and me. I’ve long been a lover of nature, and with a vivid imagination, even an ordinary trail can become a trek to “Mordor.” On those long walks, I spin fairytales about hidden “fairie creatures” behind rocks and trees, and my ever-patient husband indulges my need to stop for mushrooms or pull the car over just to photograph a bird. This sense of wonder fuels much of the imagery I create in my art.
I’ve been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember—a private hobby that has always been both cathartic and joyful. Growing up homeschooled, I spent countless hours reading, sketching, and wandering the woods. That same imagination now pushes me to seek new experiences and grow as an artist. Sharing my work with the world is both thrilling and nerve-racking, but as the saying goes: here goes nothing.
