My aesthetic sensibility evolved through early studies in architecture followed by training and a career in graphic design where I developed a sense of play with the formal elements of line, shape, texture, value, color and space. My painting involves ideas/symbols/forms that come to me from pure visual play, psychological/emotional issues, and dharma practice. I strive to visually touch the ineffable, the mystery of being alive.
