I’m a State College, Pennsylvania based artist working in a variety of media. My background is in Fine Art Photography, but over time my focus shifted to drawing and eventually oil painting My current work focuses on painting portraits in oil. I’m largely self-taught as a painter, learning through books and instructional materials centered on traditional methods. Classical realism and the old masters are my inspiration and I'm intrigued by the traditional processes and techniques of painting in oil.
