AboutCynthia Ayoub Harris

I was born in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, and grew up near there. That is a primarily rural community, although I lived in a college town. When I was 20 years old, I moved to Chicago, because I love cities and still love Chicago.

While teaching mathematics at a community college, I took a course in photography with a friend of mine  at the institution where I taught. I had always really liked taking photos and so I have dedicated the last 15 years to learning everything I could about Photography.

I think I have made excellent progress, and have been in a number of exhibitions (Chicago Photography School, Chicago Public Library, Atlanta Photography Group, Gallery by the Lake, Alex Ferrone Gallery, MVA Gallery) and I belong to several photography groups, one from my hometown, one from Atlanta and several in Chicago.  

Photography has made my life very meaningful and fun. I hope to be able to share my work with others.
