AboutAlex Gabriel

Alex grew up in Central Pennsylvania. They moved to Fairfield, Iowa and completed their bachelors degree in Fine Art with a minor in Sustainable Living at Maharishi International University. During this time, they also worked for a local composting project and partnered with Green Iowa AmeriCorps to create composting systems connected with the university Farm, kitchen and local restaurants. Consistently balancing passions for Nature, Agriculture, and Art over the years, Alex continued their education with a Master of Fine Arts degree from The University of Iowa in 2019. After living in Colorado for several years, Alex has recently returned to Bellefonte and is excited to be part of the local art community.
